The 10th annual Nonprofit Technology Network conference was in Atlanta this year. I was excited to go but nervous too. I’ve been learning from NTEN resources for years, but only recently become an official member.

Before I left Toronto, @unbrelievable and I tried to help our CEO @PhilipKingIV understand why he can’t just tweet once a day. He’s having some Twitter adoption issues. Needs more practice.
I thought I’d encourage him by collecting the handles of all the folks I admire on Twitter on a pair of RCMP boxer shorts.

I felt a little better talking to people I don’t know when I had something fun to talk about. And because when people do something nice for you, you should do something nice for them, I gave out little Canadian flag pins.
Can be pinned to coats, shirts, ties, small children!

- Planning to pitch the best Social Media Advice panel ever for #11NTC with @JessRodg – it starts with “Be defensive & inauthentic! And use ALLCAPS!”
- Giggling with Margaret from @FRSuccess Magazine as we tried to find a way to scribble on boxers in a speeding cab on the way to the airport.
